I bought the set for a 7 year old, and everything seems to fit except the fins.

They are adjustable for size, but they are so narrow and she really has to work at it to get her feet in. The odd thing is that they have plenty more space for adjusting for the length of the foot, but they aren't built wide enough to accomodate a larger foot.

Next year I am going to be looking for fins again.

I bought this item for my seven year old son. Mask and snorkle are a good fit and good quality. The dive fins are too small. If you have a larger sized pre-teen (my son wears a size 6 shoe) then the fins will probably be to small. You might want to buy the fins seperately from the mask and snorkle.

They write assorted colors in their description, but make no reference to assorted sizes also being sent out... we ordered 2, assuming same size and different colors.. we received 2 colors and 2 sizes!!! Poorly written descriptions of objects without an option to order sizes needed is not the best way to assure customer satisfaction.
