This game is a lot of fun. It is competitive and challenging. The kids (age 20 and 24) are always asking to play it with us (the parents).

Our family really enjoys this game. It is fun and although part of winning the game is luck of the draw....it also takes strategy. My 7 and 8 year old sons love playing it and along the way they are learning the states and their capitals.

We love the Sequence game so we had to try Sequence States! It's definitely a bit more challenging than Sequence but it is great fun! Fun learning for any age!

5.0 out of 5 stars My 5 year old knows all of the states capitols, November 20, 2010

I got this for my older kids and my 5 year old now plays it with them. She recognizes the shapes of the states and knows all of the capitals. The only thing I wish they had was a way to have the states be located on the map so that they can learn that too. But, this was a great investment. If you have kids who are learning state capitals, this is a fun way to help them. It would be a great gift for a teacher too to use during indoor recess too.

My husband and I first played the Deluxe Sequence Game my parents brought over New Years Weekend 2010. My parents and my husband, and I had such a blast playing that game, that we were curious to see if there were other versions out there. My step daughters are 14, 12, and 9 and we thought this would be a very nice game of learning and fun. Our 12 y/0 lives with us full time so we tried it out with her first and she really liked it, we had her say the name of the capital of the card she was playing to the state on the board she was matching it to. We are going to try it out with our 9 y/o this weekend and see how she likes it! Thanks so much for providing this product, we are considering buying more versions from amazon.com

Our family enjoys regular Sequence and decided to give this a try. You don't have to know the states and capitals- you can rely on matching the shape/color of the state with the card in your hand. That is the only reason I gave it four stars. This is especially fun to play in teams. Good general strategy is needed to win. My 9 yr. old loves it!

This game is really a lot of fun for all ages. Yes, matching up capitals with the shapes of states sounds boring, but really it isn't! A cheat sheet is provided with the game if you need help. This product would be a great purchase for family game night but would also fit just as well into a classroom.
