I had purchased a hat from Village hat about 4 years ago. It was a Jaxon Crushable Wool Aussie. I liked this hat. It was well made and very stylish. I was in need of a new one, so I contacted Village Hat earlier this year to find out it was discontinued. They said that it was replaced by this model, Jaxon Outback Crushable. This model is more expensive and is not (in my opinion) of equally quality with the older model. It is also sized slightly smaller than the previous model. Also it has a brown band instead of a black band (the hat is black.)I always thought that it was odd that they sold the older model in bulk. Now I wish I had purchased an order of 10 back then. I will keep it because I have not found anything else better, but I am disappointed.

I was checking my reviews and I noticed that this one was no longer connected with the product. I went in and reconnected it to the product link.

I have been very satisfied with the purchase process for this hat. Amazon makes it very easy and quick to order and The Village Hat Shop's high quality and quick service will keep me coming back. This particular hat is priced well, high quality and good fit, is as advertised. I have purchased 2 hats, and the service and speedy shipping is nice to have.

the hat is well made, the band is cheesy vinyl; the hat with the vinyl band was a little tight on me (I got a medium and typically wear a 7 1/4), but when I put my own adjustable band on it, it fit fine.

I had a hat similar to this one but in brown. I decided that I needed a black hat of the same style to go with different color clothing and this one fit the appearance I wanted.

Although I ordered it just to knock around in the hat looks great with a nice outfit. I will have no problem wearing it to a fancier affair than just a cookout with friends.

I can dance in this hat! (haha)
