I picked up a Jay Turser 220-bk because it had always been my dream to play guitar again. I had hand surgery 34 years ago, so I gave up. Now,at age 52, I decided to give it one more shot. The neck onthis guitar is incredible. The workmanship is superior. A lot of reviewrs forget that you don't spend a thousand dollars just to determine whether you want to play guitar. Jay Turser lets youown a quality guitar without breaking the bank. Five stars for Jay Turser guitars.

I bought this guitar at a local music shop recently to be an addition to my recording studio. I thought it played very well and the neck was easily playable and sounded good on the shops huge stacks. but when i got it home to record, it sounds muffled and "bassy" with certain notes and no matter how i set the audio knobs it still sounds mushyand unclear. my 1980's Ibanez Axstar outperfoms by a landslide. and yes I paid full price unfurtunetly. for 160 bucks its a good deal. but not at 350 bucks.
