I purchased the JV-BA100M MP3 adapter and JB-200 bluetooth headphones. I decided to get the MP3 adapter because I thought it would give me the most options for playback on different devices. My luck so far with the pair is not so good. The MP3 adapter and headphones seemed to charge with the included charger fine. Pairing and connecting the set was also easy and worked the first time.

The problem started when I actually went to use the system. The audio link between the two seemed to skip or miss parts of the music fairly often, unless the two were very close to each other. I do not have an arm band for my MP3 player, so I had to keep the MP3 player and adapter in my pocket. I do not think both the MP3 adapter and headphones will work reliably much farther than a few feet from each other. As soon as the distance goes beyond about three feet I started noticing the skipping.

The headphone jack coming out of the adapter is also tricky to make work with lots of players. Many players or headphone jacks do not provide enough clearance for the two inch adapter. I am not sure how the design could be better, but it is just not optimal.

Unfortunately after a few weeks this adapter stopped turning on, so I had to RMA it with Jaybird.

It's presented as a "Universal" adapter - but it's really just an adapter for their JB-200 headset. You have to by a charger separately and it's not obvious from the product description unless you read real carefully. Every other adapter charges over USB - don't know why this one doesn't.

I was so excited to receive this adapter and the price was a bargain. I received it on time and when I plugged it in; nothing happened. I took a moment and read the instruction booklet and it kept referring to a charger that didn't come with the adapter and isn't available for sale on Amazon.com. I did find it at the company's website and it isn't very expensive; it would've been nice to know that I needed it AND if Amazon.com carried it.

This is a solid adapter. It could be a little smaller but I've had no problem tucking it in my pocket or in an armband. I use it with a Creative Zen Stone MP3 player (as well as a Tascam GTR1) and Jaybird bluetooth headphones. My only problem is that there's an incredible amount of latency. This is not a problem if you're just listening to music but I wanted to use this with a guitar trainer as well. But it's impossible to do that due to the latency. It's not a defect or anything like that. It's just "the way it is" if you use an adapter like this. The other problem that I have with it is that it cuts out a little if it's in my pocket while riding a bike. i recommend using an armband to remedy this.

I needed this to listen to my Creative Zen with my Jaybird headphones while working out. I purchased the Jaybird with the iPod adapter, which I also use, but mostly for travel. This adapter allows me to use my Jaybird bluetooth headset with any mp3 device or my laptop. It does what I needed it to do.

The Jaybird Bluetooth Adapter for MP3 Players works like a charm with my Archos AV 500 Mobile DVR, and I'm loving being completely wireless from my MP3 player.

Bought this to go along with my JayBird wireless headphones for when i am working out at the gym. I turn my headphones on, then turn the MP3 adapter on and the two items sync up by themselves and I go on with my workout with no wires to get in my way. I also use it at work, plugging the adapter into the headphone out on my computer. I can walk any place at work and still hear my music. Works great!!!!
