No Cables, No Batteries
The JP-BA-100i connects straight to your iPod's dock connector, and receives its power from the iPod itself. This means no batteries, a slim form factor, and only 6.5 extra grams to carry around. This also means no charging--when your iPod is charged, the device gets power.
For Use with Jaybird JB-100 Stereo Headset
Pair the JP-BA-100i with the Jaybird JB-100 Stereo Headset for 16-bit stereo wireless sound. The devices are paired using the Bluetooth 2.0 A2DP protocol, and no passkey is required--the JP-BA-100i automatically pairs with the headset. A status LED lets you know when the device is connected.
What's in the Box

It broke both my ipods,

I used it with my nano first. It worked the first day and then the second day it just stopped working with the nano. I thought maybe it was the nano, so I used it with my classic ipod. It worked for about a week before it stopped working. I went to best buy and bought a different transmitter and it didn't work in either of my ipods. I'm going to try and complain, but I don't expect anything to come from it.Also, I agree about the skipping from the other reviews. It was skipping while I was using it. I can't say it was because I was exercising either. I set it up and was just using it sitting in my living room. It randomly started to skip. I wish I never purchased the transmitter.

OK, I bought this transmitter to go with the Jaybird Sportsband, which I just LOVE! Now, when I use the Sportsband with my iPhone 3GS and its built in Bluetooth, no problem, very little skipping. But, when using this Jaybird adapter and my Nano in the same locations, it skips terribly. Its quite annoying. A shame really, because when not skipping, the sound quality is awesome.I am going to exchange it to see if maybe mine is defective, but I expect to have to try a different one, maybe a Sony next... :(

Sound quality is great and it's really nice not having a cord. Could be a little smaller for smaller ears but you kind of get used to it. Very discreet. Little more difficult to put on than just slipping earbuds in your ears but worth it.
