I love all the songs in this CD. I have it in my car and listen to it often. My kids want to listen to it whenever we are in driving . They learned most of the lyrics. It keeps the Chriatmas spirit around us. Very nice. A good stocking stuffer for all ages.

I am so glad that Wafic put out another Christmas CD! Have been listening to this (and his first one) since they came out! It's Christmas all year long! Perfect gift to give!

I bought this CD as well as the "Talj el Milad" CD and loved them BOTH. My children loved them as well. Afer just a few days, they started singing along and would immediately request their favorite songs as soon as we'd get in the car. They also insisted that we bring it in the house so they can continue to listen to it. :) I highly recommend both these CDs!!!

i'm glad someone finally did a christmas album like this

I've been playing this CD constantly since I got it a couple days ago. Perhaps what keeps this album from being so great is the song selection. There's something for everyone on this album and yet neither the quality or cohesiveness of the work are compromised. This album overflows with Christmas cheer and transcendental festive moments. It will make your Christmas that much merrier. A great gift and a solid work.

To preface this review you should first read my review of Wafic's first Christmas CD - "Talj El Milad". This collection contains a combination of new recordings and some previously released tracks made available for the first time on CD. Anyone who may have had a cassette of Wafic's Christmas music in the past will appreciate having the remastered tracks sounding better than ever on CD. "Jayee Papa Noel" continues in the same tradition with Arabic lyrics blended with mostly western music. The one notable exception being the original piece "Daem Daem" which has a much more middle eastern sound. The flute melody on this particular piece is exquisite and nicely compliments the melody of the vocal. Many of the tracks on this collection include child vocals making this a great sing along for kids. Once again you will find familiar Christmas songs with new original Arabic lyrics and four of the tracks are original pieces firmly establishing Wafic as not just a lyricist but a songwriter as well. If you enjoyed "Talj El Milad" then you will definitely want to hear this follow up which also serves as a sort of "prequel" because of the blend of tracks. I can't list personal favorites this time because I would have to include most of the CD. I thoroughly enjoyed both the old and the new!

I picked this up on a whim and I was thrilled with the warmth and intimacy of this set. It fuses the musical traditions of two cultures into something very appealing and life-giving. I listened to this on and off over a couple of weeks and it never failed to get people interested when they heard it over my system. A great find!

To use a cliche, "Two thumbs up." How delightful to hear very familiar holiday songs in so different a language! There is so much talk about "diversity" these days, but I find diversity in music to be unpleasant to the ears and hard on the soul. Mr. Khalil's CD is pleasing to the ears, soft on the soul, and, because it is sung in Arabic, definitely diverse. It's a pleasure to listen to.

What a welcome find! The performances and production value are excellent in this CD. More upbeat than most holiday albums and a joy to listen to.

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed listening to some of the selections on this album! i'm a BIG music lover so when I listen to music, i listen for an energy along with beautiful melodies and this album gave me both of those! I can see where both adults and kids alike would love this album! I look forward to sharing it with my children come this season! Again, great work Mr. Khalil, keep those hits coming!
