Excellent recording, one of the best jazz albums in my collection. These 2 were obviously very comfortable playing with each other and their playing styles complement one other as they trade solos. Makes me wish I was there when it was recorded, but it was a few years before my time. The band is tight and smooth, no abstract improvisation here, just good clean music. Hard to believe they played this live!
