This review is from: The Jazz Brothers : Spring Fever (Vinyl)
I thank the person who provided me this album (4 stars because it's not new--it was advertised as used). I will probably convert it to digital format. I bought the album mainly for the solos of saxophonist Sal Nistico (a cousing of the prolific Sammy Nestico)--it seems that many saxophonists of Italian heritage can do long, pulsating, imaginative lines (i.e., Vido Musso in 'Vido's Boogie'). While dated, many have followed the subsequent careers of the Mangione brothers (kinda the equivalent to the more talented Marsalis family).
