5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT
My kids in class LOVED these chants and were always ready to learn more. I had tryed everything in my ESL classes to get my youngest ones to speak more. These chants gave them confidence and FUN. This material can be used with any program and will add lots of spice!

3.0 out of 5 stars Songs That Stay With You...and Don't Go Away
Jazz Chants for Children's content stays with you for a long time. It simply does not go away. A person could be walking down the street, then suddenly start singing..."Shh, shh, baby's sleeping." They're good tools for teaching ESL, but the content of the chants would drive an English speaker insane. Although many of the chants are happy and cheerful, many...

They're good tools for teaching ESL, but the content of the chants would drive an English speaker insane. Although many of the chants are happy and cheerful, many of them seem hostile. When purchasing for your child, use caution.

While a few of the chants have catchy melodies, listening to children chanting, "I don't like him," "My socks don't match," and "I'm mad at you" gets old fast. I would prefer something much more positive sounding.
