Guitar fans are in for a real treat - the playing on this album is a first-rate fusion of Steve Vai and his late mentor, Frank Zappa. Yet it isn't all shredding for the sake of showing off, the songs are tuneful and melodic and as such, should appeal to most music fans. If you like bands like Spiral Architect, Andromeda, Dream Theater and Beardfish, this album's for you.
