The Jazz Guitar Chord Bible presents a concise and no-nonsense approach to proper comping in jazz situations. Each chord family is presented with a number of examples illustrating each chord shape, taking into consideration what many beginning guitarists ignore: voice leading.
I have been using this book for almost two years and find it invaluable when looking for "the magic chord."
