Chuck Wayne featuring Zoot Sims, October 16, 2007

Overall pleasing sounds, but it's apparent that the arrangements could have been better and the rhythm less "plodding". Zoot Sims, as usual, swings and generally rises above the aforementioned confines. Chuck Wayne was a very good guitarist and did not overwhelm his sidemen. On vinyl, this is a very rare Savoy label LP - perhaps only 10,000 ever made!
