5.0 out of 5 stars Great Depression Era Swing Music, December 7, 2008
By
W. Nelson (Broomfield, CO United States) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This album is the ultimate late 1930's depression era swing music. Benny Goodman does the best recording ever of Louis Prima's 1936 Sing, Sing, Sing. Given today's economic realities this should become the Number #1 retro music album of our time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great jazz CD for anyone who loves music!, October 21, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Stompin at the Savoy (Audio CD)
I got this CD before swing became popular again and I think it's better than anything the "new swing" groups are putting out. I could play Sing Sing Sing over and over and never get tired of it! If you're a fan of the new swing groups, try the real thing - it's even better!
