This is our go-to cd when making our weekly Saturday morning family breakfast. My four year old and two year old love it as well as mom and dad!

My kids love, love, love this cd and we play it daily. But, it is the exact same playlist of the 2004 release, (which is the one we have) that is way cheaper. Save yourself some cash and get the other one.

This is the second time I have purchased this disc. The kids loved it so much (and were so bad at handling it), it got all scratched up. The were super excited to have one that didn't get stuck on the third song - and I was, too! Overall, it's a fun little CD that exposed kids to something they might not otherwise hear. I don't mind listening to it (like some kids CDs), and the boys like to dance to it. It is a sure fire energy buster in our house, and it's won rave reviews from my two, five and seven year olds. If something happens to this one, I would willingly purchase a third one, and that should speak for itself :)!

This collection of favorites, performed by renowned jazz artists, is a treasure. Ella singing, "Old McDonald"? Suddenly repetitions of Old Mac are more tolerable, and my grandchildren hear "real" music, not cutsie, sugar-coated pap. Recently, my 4-year-old grandson and I were hanging out, doing errands, listening to Jazz for Kids in the car. Approaching a deserted tunnel, I rolled down all the windows and cranked the volume. Glancing in the rear-view mirror I saw windblown hair standing straight up, two, small, thumbs-up fists raised high, and an expression of ecstasy on a face I cherish. Emerging from the tunnel, my grandson shouted, "Yes! What a great idea!" I pick-up another grandchild from school (she's 5). Innvariably she says, "Let's listen to the Jazz." I appreciate having music like this to share with my grandchildren - another pivot point for memory building.

This is the best kid's CD I've heard. This has gotten tireless play for the past 4 yrs in my house. My 5 yr old son has loved this since he was a babe; and I love it. This is real music made by real artists, I feel good playing it for my children (I have a baby daughter who's just getting into it) because I know I'm exposing them to quality music and a pieces of musical history. Best of all, I never get tired of hearing it. Admit it Mom's and Dad's, there are some of those kid CDs out there that you just dread playing for your children yet again... This will not be one of them, your child will ask for it and you will be happy to put it on and Sing, Clap, Wiggle, and Shake right along with them! "Nicky's Jazz for Kids" is another CD worth checking out (although I could do without "Three Blind Mice", it's the only draw back to it).

You cannot go wrong with this CD, just look at the artists. I love to listen to this as much as my daughter.
