Tony Bennett had both the ability and the discipline to vary his style from popular radio versions to both a brassy big-band sound , even to the mellow intricacies which Jazz so well represented. T.Bennett was as capable as Frank Sinatra to 'bring the house down' with his wide range and powerful voice, or he could reach the deepest darkest fallen angel and bring them back to ecstacy. Tony Bennett was Smooth, He was Varied, He was able to Reach into the Heart of America. He Connected with his Audience as well as Any Crooners of the Exceptional Span of Career which Tony sang, over 40 years, he outlasted his co-horts by far, and he was genuinely loved by the entire pool of fans over that time. "Moods - Cool" is a very Enjoable experience, as is just about anything Tony Bennett took on as a challenge.

This CD is a joy to listen to. The icon sings with warmth, honesty and an intensity that sets him apart from other singers. His phrasing is better then the singers that are famous for excellent phrasing. His songs were old standards that deserve to receive the TONY BENNETT treatment!

I thought that Tony Bennett's new CD was dismal and not up to his usual standards. I do not plan to listen to it again.
