"Bewitched, bothered and bewildered...That's All",
This review is from: Jazz Moods: Jazz By the Fire (Audio CD)
What does Victor Young, Rodgers & Hart, Duke Ellington and George & Ira Gershwin have in common---the answer is the Best Music in the World of Jazz---Concord Jazz presents Karrin Allyson, Allan Broadbent, Ray Brown, Gary Burton, Stanley Cowell, Gary Foster, Stan Getz, Jim Hall, Scott Hamilton, Gene Harris, Tom Lellis, Dennis Rowland and Stefan Scaggiari set a high musical level that's perfect for any day(or night for that matter) when you want just the right mood to help stoke that romantic fire.Don't take my word for it, listen to---"FOR ALL WE KNOW"---"MY FOOLISH HEART"---"BEWITCHED, BOTHERED AND BEWILDERED"---"THAT'S ALL"---"HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN GOING ON?", is just the tip of the iceberg---inspiring performances, with a hint of timeless excellence for you, the listener! Total Time: 63:58 on 11 Tracks ~ Concord Jazz CCD-5212 ~ (2000)

First of many,
This review is from: Jazz Moods: Jazz By the Fire (Audio CD)
I stumbled across this album in a record store a couple of years ago. When I played it for the first time, I had to stop what I was doing and found my self sitting still to listen, enchanted not only with the beautiful quality of music, but also the terrific selection of tunes. I searched for the other Concord CDs listed on the jacket and am delighted to have found so many available through Amazon. I love them all, but Jazz by the Fire is still one that I play regularly.

Love This CD,
This review is from: Jazz Moods: Jazz By the Fire (Audio CD)
I have enjoyed this CD for several years. I don't know anything about Jazz. All I know is I love this CD.It is the perfect low-key Jazz to listen to while reading the Sunday papers on a cold winter's afternoon. The music caresses and transports you.
