I agree with the reviewer who said resonance. That's what the music from this man's voice does, the sound resonates beautifully as if a fine cello. It's powerful. And so it is emotionally rewarding.
His notes are pitch perfect, and natural, and powerful from pianissimo, to forte.
His style is elegant, and understated. The way he sings "and how did she look" from bass to bari in two notes, was stunning. Everything is magnificent, listen to Ebb Tide, the best version out there in my opinion.

Arthur Prysock still lives in this CD. This is a wonderful collection of his work for anyone to appreciate. If you don't own any of his work this is a good beginning.

I heard just a few snippets, and when I fall in love took my breath away. The resonance of his voice was just - wow. I know that is not an educated opinion, but listen to the samples and see if you don't agree! If you like jazz this may be well worth the investment!
