5.0 out of 5 stars MISSING CD'S.....THE BEST FORM OF FLATTERY, October 31, 2002
This review is from: La Jazz Syndicate (Audio CD)
This is the third time I've had to buy this CD and it gets harder to find every time. I lost the first copy to my roommate/best friend who moved to Atlanta with this nugget stashed in his collection. The second to an old girlfriend who "forgot" to return it after our split. It's either that good or I need to get a better circle of friends.
From top to bottom there is no reason this should not be a "smooth jazz" staple. It effectively mixes a cool blend of R & B/Quiet Storm covers, ("Shoop" & "Give my Love..." from the "Waiting to Exhale" soundtrack) with balanced songs which can match any mood from light and breezy to slow and sultry. The combined talents of this group of up-and-coming studio musicians makes this a CD worth having and holding on to, if you can.

4.0 out of 5 stars Don't Own the Album, but love "And I Gave My Love to You"!!, September 26, 2002

Okay, I do not own this album, but I heard "And I Gave My Love to You", and the song is enough to make me go out and buy it! It's so smooth, and I expect every song to be just as good. If you haven't heard the song, please call in, and request it, or better yet...go buy the album! I know that I will!!
