beautiful jazzy renditions
My piano teacher introduced me to this book a good fifteen years ago, and I've been pulling it out at Christmastime ever since. The arrangements go through a variety of jazz styles, from the peppy Scott Joplin-esque "The Holly and the Ivy" to the understated syncopation of "O Christmas Tree," and I just love them. Over my head!
I was disappointed with the arrangements after the book arrived. I didn't realize the book was for the more advanced. I'm sure it would be well received by a more accomplished student of the piano.

Some really fantastic arrangements in here... and some seem a bit tongue-in-cheek. Either way, isn't being cheesy half of the fun of Christmas? I give my full recommendation to this book!
