I think that Jeremy is one of the most exciting musicians in jazz. He is one to listen to and will certainly be a leader in the jazz violin world.
I think that his approach to melody is unique and lyrical and is certainly coming from an ever deepening understanding of harmony. His rhythm swings and his compositions are inspired. The rest of the band sounds amazing too. Can't wait for the next one!

Jeremy Kittel is one of the most exciting Celtic fiddlers of our generation. With this CD, he shows that he is equally at home in the world of jazz. He is a master of his instrument...beautiful tone, thought-provoking writing. Great music to drive to!

This album is totally inspiring. His sound is the most attractive violin sound anybody can produce in the history. He has a such a strong demanding ability of violin. Especially controlling the bow and his phrasing melodies are absolutly amazing and fresh!!!. Finally, I found a real good jazz violin album, really really !!!!

Kittle's playing is uninspiring. I found no character. His constant use of white notes and "wailing" attempting to give something of musicality is a turnoff. Besides he might consider obtaining a better instrument. His sound is quite mediocre and if he calls this playing jazz, I am on another planet.
