This cd has some fairly well known jazz vocal pieces, some bordering on pure 50's pop like Louis Armstrong's timeless romantic rendition of Kidd To Build a dream on. However mixed with the more common Armstrong, Dinah Washington and Peggy Lee performances are the rarer Lee Wiley, Leo Watson, and Mildred Bailey! Where else can you get Satchmo crooning Kiss To Build a dream on and King Pleasure's Bi-polar-esque reading of I'm In The mood For Love on one cd, a good sampler for beginners'
