Hip Hop & Jazz from Germany,

When you pop this CD in your stereo, get ready for a really treat of jazz and hip hop in german. The flow of the music is facinating and just puts a spell on you. This project is a collection of the best jazzers and hip hoppers Germany has to offer. Many of the recordings are done in pieces, with DAT-tapes being sent all over Germany. Some rap is done in Braunschweig and some xylophone is recorded in Munich. It is then all mixed together at the end to give you a grerat album. The songs range from smooth jazz instrumentals to cool raps backed with jazz tunes. Even if you can't understand the lyrics, the feeling of hip hop still is there and alive. A great band that has finally found it's way to the U.S. To use a german phrase: Echt klasse Musik.

Who would think that some german guys could make such a great album? Jazz and Hip-Hop, in german... woa, that's nice. Even when it is from middle 90's, it sounds really fresh to me. It is a shame that it does not come with the lyrics, but it is worth your money, for sure!
