FANTASTIC FOREPLAY,

La Vienta has a style all their own. Personally, I can't see comparing them to other artists in the same genre and I am sad they haven't made any new music for CD lately. BUT....all I can say is that I've added this to my favorite music for the perfect ambience for a romantic situation "with someone new"......very sensual. Every other song is this way......slow and sensual...a striptease for the ears. The other songs are a tad more upbeat. I love the whole thing!!

RELAXING, BUT INTENSE.,

Sorry if I make some grammar mistakes, I'm a spanish speaker. I simply love this duo. I'm not sure which Cd I've listened to because I received it from a friend in a cassette with no labels than one which said "la vienta" on it. I first listened to it on a trip by car I made around Venezuela last year. It grapped me and now I carry it everywhere because it make me feel happy and peaceful. My entire family loves it too..generation gap doesn't exist anymore in its presence. I highly recommend it.

Loved this CD for Years,
This review is from: Jazzmenco (Audio CD)
I originally bought this CD back in 93 not long after it's initial release and have loved it ever since. Track one sets the pace for the album in that you're immediately brought in and enveloped by the music. I've played this cd for many friends and each one of them have in turn gone out and bought a copy of their own. There's just no denying how well this album is put together and how expertly each track is played.

One of the best guitar ambiance CDs!,

I am a classical/spanish guitar player that enjoys to listening artists like Paco de Lucia, Ottmar Liebert, Strunz & Farah, etc. All I can say is that La Vienta is unique from all of them. Each song is well thought out and with different flavor from the previous one (no continuos repetitions like others). If you suffer from stress and high blood pressure, this CD is the remedy!

These guys go beyond flamenco. I really enjoyed and keep enjoying this CD. I am proud to say I own all the other La Vienta releases, and each one is a work of art!

LOTS OF ENERGY...but what do you expect from Flamenco music?,
By A Customer
This review is from: Jazzmenco (Audio CD)
This CD is very much Flamenco all the way....just jazzed up a bit. Seriously, if you don't like JAZZ, don't let it stop you from buying this CD. If you like artists like OBE + JORGE (Sol y Luna), Willie and Lobo (Fandango Nights), Jesse Cook (Gravity), Strunz & Farah (Americas), The Gypsy Kings, and Ottmar Liebert (his early stuff like Nouveau Flamenco) you'll love this CD. The recording is first class....actually better than that!
