My son (21 months) loves the book and wishes to have it read to him repeatedly. The cut-out pages are intriguing and he looks behind each to see who the peering eyes belong to. One weakness in the book is that the paper construction does not stand up to the enthusiastic page turning of very young readers.

Both my 4 and 2 year olds love this book! The illustrations are bright and colorful and the hide-and-seek story is very appealing to young children.

This book is beautifully illustrated and captivates my three year old. The uniquely cut pages add an element of mystery and surprise when each page is turned. We can't enough of this book! I hope Lucy Cousins will write more about Jazzy and his adventures. Don't let your child miss the fun filled search for Jazzy.

I got this from the local library, and it didn't take long for this to become a favorite. At seven-months old my son would only read 2 books, and this was one. I kept renewing it, but finally just purchased it. As far as durability...some of the pages have cut outs or flaps, so they tend tear easier than other books. I think the only way to increase durability would be to laminate the pages. I figure it's the nature of interactive books.

I puchased mine used so I could get a hardbound. As far as I can tell they don't publish hardback anymore.

Jazzy in the Jungle is an intriguing book for both my daughter and I. The cut outs revealing just the eyes or spots of an animal about to revealed with a turn of the page, keeps one interested until little Jazzy is found. My daughter loves Jazzy. Fun bright colors are a plus too.
