If the quality was more and the cost was less than it is at full retail, I would have given 5 stars. As it is, besides a cute idea and the design aspect, the only thing these socks have going for them as opposed to ones from, say, Wal-mart, are the little grippers on the bottom.Otherwise, you are paying strictly for the design element. They are thinner socks and are made from not real high quality fabric. They wash alright, but, for the price you'd expect greatness. These aren't even as good as Gymboree's socks, for example.

As a former Texan, I couldn't resist ordering these for my new little great grandson. They seem well made little socks...priced somewhat high for their novelty, but look cute & fit the bill for little ones not yet ready for shoes.
