FIRST, I wish to express my condolences to family of Grégory Lemarchal. I did not even know that he'd passed away until after I purchased this album. I was surfing on Youtube and liked what I heard of his voice; traversed to amazon where I bought this album. What a voice for someone of diminutive stature. Also, once I learned that his ailment had been Cystic fibrosis from birth, I thought, all the more, WOW, what a voice; and a decent range as well. I personally have a lot of music CDs, particularly genres that highlight classical/pop vocals such as Russel Watson, Josh Groban, etc. Now I found another great voice to add to my collection. Unfortunately Grégory has only had 3 albums produced (one last album is yet to be released posthumously, at this writing).

I enjoy his unabashed head voice vocal range. He has an exceptional register break. As well, I was not disappointed with any of the songs on this album. Unlike many vocal albums I've purchased, EVERY song on this album is very good regarding both in showcasing his voice as well as being very catchy tunes that I believe will stick in my mind for awhile to come. This in itself is such a relief - not to have wasted money and effort.

You would not think that this young man had Cystic Fibrosis by listening to him sing. It is amazing - such vocals coming from someone as whom had no obvious lung malady. It is such a shame to lose someone with such great vocal quality and potential, at such an early age. And after listening just the first time to this album, it became quite clear that no one felt sorry for him when he won both the Star Acadamy contest in 2004, and then won the "breakthrough artist of the year" for 2006 NRJ Music Awards - all by his own merits.

After the death of Michael Jackson, I never though i would be able to find another male artist that could evoke so much emotion into their music. OH MY GOD!!! This boy has one of the greatest talents i have ever seen. And this album has some of the most beautiful songs i have ever heard. I have a huge collection of music.

I love Michael, Stevie Nicks, Madonna, Celine Dion... Gregory Lemarchal has addded himself to my Top 5 without a doubt.

If you don't speak French, these songs will be a sure treat. and if you do... then prepare to weep your eyes out. I can't even hold myself back whenever i think about this boy and his music. I brag about him to everyone! HIS VOICE!!!! OH LA LA!

1. Je Deviens- i think that possibly this has become one of my favorite songs of all time, it has a beautiful melody and the lyrics are stunning! I love the theme and how well written and sung it is. UGGGH, this song is so disgustingly beautiful. I LOVE IT!! 100000000000/10

2. Je Suis En Vie- Great, this is the song that made me buy the album... whenever i heard this song i couldn't get enough of it, it is so good. 10/10.

3.Ecris L'Histoire- BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL Vocals! i luv it, the lyrics are so good! 1000/10

4. A Corps Perdu- pretty much makes me wanna cry, One of the best songs on the album. 10/10

5. Le Feu Sur Le Planche- Amazing!!! 10/10

6. Je T'Ecris- I love how it start slows and it works itself into a phenomenal and Powerful closing! Beautiful lyrics, Great theme! Phenomenal song! 100/10

7. Pardonne Moi- Sheer!!!! this song is the shiz!!!!! i love it oh my God, i'm listining to it right now, and if only you could listen to what i'm hearing! 10000/10

8. Mon Ange- OH MY GOD THIS SONG IS FRICKEN AMAZING, THIS SONG MAKES ME CRY AND IT MAKES ME SMILE!!!!! P H E N O M E N A L!!!! 100000/10

9. Promets Moi- By the time this song comes i'm pretty much in love with him and he has knocked any competitors to smithereens! 10/10

10. Il N'Ya Qu'Un Pas- From The Very first line he sings he puts a smile on my face. Your ears swalllow this song like honey.. OH GOD I LOVE HIM!!!! This song is pure MAGIC!!! 1000/10

11. Le Bonheure Tout Simplement- GREAT AMAZING Rock Track! Very powerful vocals and lyrics! 100/10

12. Une Vie Moins Ordinaire- You are basically in Utopia with this song.
BEAUTIFUL, this song makes me smile all the time i hear it, his vocals are just pure medicine for the soul!! 10000/10

Gregory you have left this earth, but your voice will always live with me until the day that i go too, i'm 19 and i love the fact that i have many more years ahead to enjoy with this masterpiece!! and this is coming from someone who owns over 356 albums all ranging from the 60's to 2009!
I AM SO GLAD I LEARNED TO SPEAK FRENCH!! This album was worth the struggle. and even if you don't speak the language. PREPARE TO BE BLOWN AWAY. Buy this album, think of it as an investment to your happiness.

Gregory left too soon. I would have loved a few more albums like this one. Great voice and great songs. A classic and a must-have.
