Sh** And Shine - 'Jealous Of Sh** And Shine' (Riot Season), January 25, 2009

I saw on the label's site that there is a 2-CD pressing of this title, but I happen to have the single-disc version. Not bad for a British noise-rock duo. Read somewhere that during their live performances, Sh** And Shine (gotta love that name) sometimes has four drummers. That has to be some sort of record. 'Jealous Of' isn't exactly out-standing, nor is it awful. It's okay. Maybe too noisy for some, but if you're a fan of this genre, you should get something out of it. Might appeal to long time followers of the Melvins, Acid Mothers Temple, Kluster (first two lp's), Butthole Surfers and possibly some Faust.
