5.0 out of 5 stars The Jealous Sound [EP], October 6, 2000
This review is from: Jealous Sound Ep (Audio CD)
with tracks like 1,2,3,4, and 5 (yes, that is all the songs) this i don't know how no one else has reviewed this cd! although 5 songs isn't a lot, they sure pack a punch. I like the addition of the keyboard type instrument, called a farli...i don;t no what it really is but i sounds like a keyboard, a very nice touch. knowing that the lead singer...and i think that is it, is from knapsack, one of my favorite bands... i had to get this cd! Ps. when are you guys going to play in Mass.?

5.0 out of 5 stars I first heard these songs on Napster, April 30, 2004
This review is from: Jealous Sound Ep (Audio CD)
This is one of the better emo records that I had heard. I first heard of this band when they were featured on a Napster forum showcasing up-and-comming bands. I downloaded their songs (hehe) and I must say I was more than pleasantly surprised. Later I just ordered the album from Better Looking Records in LA because they didn't have it here. Let me give you the breakup of each song:

1. What's Wrong is Everywhere 5/5 - A really strong intro to the album and the most rockin' song. It blows you away the first time you hear it.
2. Priceless 5/5 - The BEST song on the album. I don't know what else to say.
3. Bitter Strings 4/5 - Great song but the least resounding and memorable on the album.
4. Quiet Life 5/5 - Super lil' pop song, which features bouncing piano chords and great chorus lines.
5. Anxious Arms 5/5 - Again, a rockin' song in the "emo" style of rock. Check out Burning Airlines, Knapsack, or other bands for a reference.

This is a terrific album if you like this sort of music. I do, so I hope this was helpful.
