I enjoyed reading the book. Mainly because I didn't know that much about that era and Jean Borotra. The big disadvantage is that it was written by a friend. Much is condoned, uhm, I should say that I had the feeling that much what Borotra did during the Vichy-era is condoned. Borotra nevertheless emerges as a remarkable man. After reading I thought: Mr. Frank Deford should write a book about the four musketeers!
