Simply Gorgeous,
By
This review is from: Jean-Honore Fragonard (Masters of Art) (Hardcover)
Fragonard was amazing. David, DelaCroix and Boucher may hog the limelight, but in his quiet way, Jean-Honore Fragonard was every bit as good, maybe better.
I pulled this edition off the shelf today, simply swept away by these beautiful reproductions of some of the best paint-handling in human history. I had forgotten how gorgeous this book is, and I had forgotten too about the artist's flair for playful and sensuous eroticism. Well worth the money!

I'm not a genius, but I know what I like!,

I can't think of much to say about the book, I only got a quick preview of it today at college, but what I can say is that the work is set out so everybody can understand it. Fragonard's work is so lively and I'm glad that somebody got all his work together in a book! Cheerz!
