This is a Region 2 PAL DVD, which I only got to watch once on my computer
I really wish they would release these Jean Michel Jarre DVD's in NTSC for us americans. There are several Jean Michel Jarre shows that are available and viewable only in Europe. Jarre's "Oxygene Moscow" is the only NTSC DVD available in the US. I guess I'm going to have to invest in a Region Free DVD player if many of my favorite artists are only available...

Good quality
This is an excellent recording of JMJ concert but the concert itself is not his best. Hovewer the local musicians and music is an exotic element in the show and owerall it is a buyworthy DVD. He (JMJ) had the excellent idea to release this on regionfree recording which makes the concert easy to sell and to enjoy for everyone.

I really wish they would release these Jean Michel Jarre DVD's in NTSC for us americans. There are several Jean Michel Jarre shows that are available and viewable only in Europe. Jarre's "Oxygene Moscow" is the only NTSC DVD available in the US.
I guess I'm going to have to invest in a Region Free DVD player if many of my favorite artists are only available on DVD in Europe. This applies to Mike Oldfield too.

Un concierto excelente, dos discos de lujo con dos conciertos, y con una puesta en escena que solo Jean Michel puede ofrecer. Reportaje de como se gestó todo el concierto y los problemas políticos que tuvo que sortear para llevar a cabo dicho evento. Creo que es un disco que no se debe dejar de tener, personas que no conocen a este músico se maravillan al escucharlo y quedan "pegadas" al televisor y seguro que querrán descubrir otras creaciones de este músico francés. Mejor que el concierto en Moscú a mi modo de ver. Ojalá aparezcan todos el resto de conciertos en vivo y poder asi completar la colección de este músico que permanece vigente desde mas de 20 años. P.D. NO HAGAN CASO DE LA ESTRELLA...DEBERIAN SER UNA 6 POR LO MENOS...

A THX 5.1 recording of a 5.1 live concert. Great music with the new "Aero" arrangements. Performed during the "Year of France in China", so it is a kind of "official" event. No fireworks were used. First "official" DVD.

One of the best concerts you will ever witness. The surround sound is amazing . I have all his albums and DVDs, but this is by far the best . The stage is excellent . " Almost as good as the Houston Concert" which is not available on DVD I am afraid to say
