This is a great CD from this very popular French actress/singer from the 1950's/60's. The melodies are very catching and I find myself humming them all day. Jeanne Moreau has a lovely voice. Unfortunately I can't sing the songs (yet) because the words are too fast for me! If you speak French (like I don't) then you will enjoy the stories behind the songs, and for the rest of us, the main storyline of each song is described in the sleeve in English. The only reason that I didn't give this album 5 stars was because the song words were not included.
