While Jeans of the Old West: A History could as easily have been featured in our History, Arts or Collector's areas, it's profiled here for the special interest it will hold for needleworkers and any interested in fabric and style history. It's packed with insights on the development of denim, its marketing, and its evolution in both function and presentation, and it is loaded with color photos of old Western jeans. An eclectic, fine survey, this crosses many genres in its presentation.

This is an incredible book if you are into the history of clothing/denim. It's great as a resource book or just as a casual read if you are interested in where your denim came from. Great book!
