As long as you don't try and cook in it. But Jedi don't cook, more on that later.

This robe is the bomb, not only is it down to the floor, and hooded - it is comfortable and warm. Hell, you'd be hard pressed to find a a long robe with a hood for the same price Jedi or not. Just now you get to walk around and make jokes about your your nearby lightsaber.

So, the only bad thing is the sleeves hang down and if you happen to be cooking or something you are likely to get your sleeves in some food. But, as I said, Jedi don't cook.

My first issue with this robe is that the advertisement actually states twice that this robe is made from 100% Cotton, however when I received it I noticed that the tag clearly says "100% Polyester." Also, the robe I received was missing the tie necessary to hold the robe closed.
I was ecstatic when I found this item and I ordered it as a gift, so I am extraordinarily disappointed that it does not match the seller's description at all.

The product description states that this robe is 100% Cotton. However, the tag sown into the robe indicates 100% Polyester. I have contacted the seller to ask whether they maybe sent the wrong product; depending on the outcome, I might update or remove this review.

    [update]
My seller "Swan Mate" was quick to respond to my inquiry, admitting a mistake and offering to refund the entire amount i paid incl. shipping and allowing me to keep the robe. Even though I clearly stated what the problem was (product material not as advertised) they didn't understand why I am dissatisfied: "...we have achieve many good comments.Mnay people said that it is warm an thick.I don't know why you didn't like it." [sic]. I asked that they at least fix the product description to prevent future buyers from being misled but nothing happens - to me this means that the seller knowingly ships a product that doesn't match the product description. While I appreciated the seller's quick response and refund, i don't like the sellers ethics and it doesn't change my review of the actual product: A cotton robe that isn't actually cotton doesn't deserve more than 1 star.

Lot's of user reviews complaining about sizing and materials, go to robefactory.com and get the product code for the robe you want and email the seller you plan on buying from

after sending out a message to thinkgeek to make sure it was the version I wanted, they sent me the wrong one it was a pita returning
I then emailed all of the resellers on Amazon asking for the product code, over half of them got back to me and said there was no such thing for this item, the bag has a sticker on it and the robe itself has a cardboard tag
bottom line some of these sellers are morons and are selling items different from the listing

The first robe I got was the osfm cotton and the second was osfm fleece

The cotton one is crap, the outside is about the same quality as a dish towel you would get at a dollar store and the inside is kinda like the scrubbing pad on a scotchbrite sponge
I'm 6' and the robe was 8" off the ground and with my arms extended there was a 6" gap from the sleeve to my wrist

The polyester fleece is nice and soft and very warm
It falls 6" from the ground and the sleeves were about to my wrist maybe slightly past
The only downside to the fleece is that the material is kinda woven loose, don't expect it to last more than a yr or 2

On both robes the logo was very poor, missing stitches and puckered material
The pockets are also very poor, they are too small for my hands, they are at an odd downward angle and there is too much excess material on the inside which is annoying

Both robes were the sith version, other users stated the jedi one uses better quality material, since I didn't get a jedi one I'm not sure if that is true or not

bottom line, these robes are over priced and have qc issues, the fleece is way better than the cotton, and the user reviews are unreliable because there are 2 different materials and 3 different sizes and some of the sellers don't realize this

Put it thru the wash as soon as i got it which is what the tag says to do. Washed & dried it exactly as the tag said. I took it out of the dryer and there were two enormous holes in the seems. Boxed it back up and got a full refund. Thank god for Amazon's great customer service. I dont understand the positive reviews. Either you guys aren't washing your robe or theres different robes going out under the same product item. Something Amazon should look into asap.

As I sit here, swaddled in the warm and voluptuous folds of my Jedi Robe, I can't help but feel that the balance has been restored to the universe and the force is again at peace. This is an awesome Jedi Robe and I highly suggest you get one for yourself. Now all I need is a roll of blue Lifesavers...

Pretty comfy bath robe. I am 6'1" and 200 lbs. The robe length is about mid-shin/calf, so not quite floor length, but fine, especially if you and actually buying it as a bath robe, and not as a Jedi costume accessory. I actually purchased as dual purpose - intending to use it both as a costume, and then later as an actual bath robe. I think this is better as a bath robe. For a Jedi robe, the color is just not right - it is definitely a warm tan color, rather than the darker, earthier color associated with Jedi robes. You can certainly still use it for a costume, but be aware that the color is definitely a light brown, not dark (and this is made pretty clear in the photos, so I anticipated this to be the case). I am rating this 4 stars based on it being a good bath robe. If it were purely rated as a costume piece, it would be lower.

The robe itself is well constructed and definitely cushy. And very warm. The hood is nice and full. Pockets are deep and also made from the same cushy material. It does come with a waist belt.

Overall, a well made product that matches the description and photos.
