I am middle aged woman. I have never camped alone, ever. I did not have any gear and began doing research on camping equipment when I came across the JEEP tent. I compared the data of the JEEP tent with criteria used on the various websites of what to look for in a tent, and the JEEP tent met the criteria. The cost was the best thing. I have never camped in winter up in the mountains, so I needed only a three season tent, with ample room for my dog, and I. The tent says 3 people size. IF you did not mind being arm to arm you could, a couple with a baby or small child could use this tent too to house the whole family. I received the tent over night as promised on the website if I purchased today. I did a trial set-up since I was going to be a woman camping alone. The set up was a breeze! It took me less then 15 minutes the first time. This is my only solo camping trip (so far) of my life....*I am pretty proud of this fact*, well my tent made it possible! I LOVE IT! I camped on a Bluff along the ocean on hwy 1 of Northern California. I camped for 5 days, each day beginning and ending with FOG, no problemo!!The tent is perfect for myself. I even left for a day/night to explore leaving my tent on the bluff with tie-downs. I came back and Viola' it was as if I had been there the whole time! I was a bit amazed:) I love the color. It did not have condensation build up inside because there is ample ventilation. The flooring is a bit thin, but sewn well. No leakage, no problems. I want to go camping again real soon all because of my tent THE JEEP TENT IS AWESOME FOR THE PRICE:)

Great tent however I wouldn't really want to sleep 4 people in it. Set up is very easy too.

A portion of this trip is spent in the dome tent I purchased through Amazon.com - I am very pleased with the ease in which this tent is pitched. It is very comfortable and has been perfect for the summer months. I recommend it to anyone traveling in warm weather. It is very lightweight and has kept me dry and safe during several storms. I am impressed and will certainly purchase another should I wear this one out!!

This is a great tent for the money. Light weight, easy to put up, water tight, and easy to put back into the nice carrying bag. If you use an air mattress there is not room for 4 adults. Three is pushing it. It rained both nights I used the tent and not one drop got in. I highly recommend it.

SLEEK DESIGN! GREAT FOR CAMPING FOR 2-3 people. DIDNT LET IN ANY RAIN. THIS IS THE BEST TENT ON AMAZON FOR THE PRICE. GET THIS ONE OVER THE REST, I DID THE RESEARCH!

NOT the first choice for cold nights! But when the weather is warm - hot, this tent proved to have excellent ventilation. And does great at keeping the bugs out, rain & dew off. Just big enough for three people and a small dog to spend a few fun hours in. Has a few extra poles involved in the setup (at the corners to help with high winds), but is still quick and easy to put together.

This is a really nice tent just be warned that a queen size cheapo air mattress barley fits lengthwise in this tent and leaves just a small strip on the side for your things. The shipping wast fast and the product is great.

I have been camping and off-roading my whole life so I bought this tent simply because it says Jeep on it. With that being said I am pleasantly surprised. The tent is very open (all sides are mesh) even with the rain fly, so I have only used it during the summer and it is great for that. The seems appear to be sturdy after a few uses. As with any tent, this is called a 4 person, but really it hold 2 people and a few belongings. But if you aren't packing so space/weight isn't an issue it's always nice to have a tent like this that is a little bit bigger than a 2 person. I will note that the design is a little shoddy... there are many pieces involved in setting up. None of it is difficult, just annoying I guess. Overall I am quite pleased (especially since some of the jeep products i purchase are kind of junkie) and definitely recommend this tent to other people who simply buy things because they say jeep or even those who don't care and just want a cheap tent. =) Happy camping.

As others have said you may be able to get 4 people in this tent if two of them are small children. My wife and I have enough room to sleep in it, however I wouldn't want any more people than that. Also other than sleeping and reading there is not much room for anything else in the tent (changing clothes, etc.) A queen size air mattress will fit in the tent with a little room left over for gear, clothes etc.

I like the cargo net up top and the windows which let in plenty of light. Also the corner vents are nice to keep the air flowing no matter what the weather and still allow privacy. I've used the rainfly as a stand alone shade at the beach and it worked great, even in the wind. However I didn't realize you couldn't use the tent and the rainfly at the same time. You have to use one or the other. Everything fits in a nice small bag that is not that heavy if you wanted to backpack with the tent.

One of the down sides is the small cheap tent stakes that come with the tent. Also I accidentally tripped over one of the corners and it ripped one of the clips from the corner of the tent. I didn't hit it that hard so it seemed like it ripped to easily. I'm not sure what this sweep out door sill is that they speak of. Other than that it's a great tent for two people or a couple with small children.
