We have a 2-year-old and a 6-month old. Overall, we were very impressed by the Jeep tandem stroller. It is easy to maneuver, intuitive, and fairly lightweight. Having used only single strollers for our toddler and baby, we weren't sure what to expect, but we knew we needed a better way to get around.
PROS: Love the play steering wheel on the front seat. If you have a toddler, you understand the appreciation for a distractor like this. It can buy you five minutes of cooperation and quiet. The easy-in/easy out set-up is great. Again, squirmy toddlers resist restraint, but this quick slide-in method makes it pretty pain free on everyone. The obvious and easy-to-use brakes are a must-have. Lots of storage, and it's all very accessible from every angle. In general, the stroller navigates through turns and tight places fairly easily. It is obvious that the stroller was designed by someone who knows toddlers and who understands the challenges of transporting multiple children, and I appreciated that.
CONS: The handlebar seems a bit narrow. Maneuverability would be better if it were wider, but of course, wider strollers mean more struggles through narrow aisles. Larger rear and front tires would make going over curbs easier as well as make for an overall smoother ride. The tires are also solid plastic rather than air filled rubber, making the ride a bit rougher than it needed to be (we also have a jogging stroller with air filled tires so we did notice the difference). Lastly, folding the stroller, while straightforward, requires the use of both hands, which means you have to have a safe place for both kids to go while you close it - it would be more convenient if you could open and close the stroller with one hand.
