4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for our needs
The Jeep Wrangler Twin Sport All-Weather Umbrella Stroller fits our family's needs perfectly. We have two children, a son that is 15 months and a daughter that is 2 months. With the birth of our daughter came the need for a stroller for two. My wife drives a Toyota Matrix. Needless to say, trunk space was limited.
The stroller is durable and compact (when folded)...

This product has some very good things and some very bad issues...

On the good side, it's inexpensive, very maneuverable, and comfy for the kids. The seats recline so you can put relatively young babies in there. It fits through most doorways, and isn't very heavy compared to most double strollers. I also like the colors. It folds fairly easily.

But there are some negatives. First, it does feel a little flimsy, especially when going over rough pavement or dirt roads. There's virtually no shock-absorbancy, and the wheels are made of foam instead of inflatable tires. The sun shades are USELESS - I really hate this feature of this stroller; they are tiny, so you have to keep moving them around, and they won't stay put when they're in anything but the highest position. Also, the handle positioning is weird; the outside handles are too far apart to use them (plus you keep stepping on the middle wheel). But the middle handle is too close to the others to use that comfortably, either.

I'd recommend this stroller for use as your "extra" stroller, or for when you need something small-ish or lightweight, like at an airport. If you are a heavy-duty stroller user, don't get this as your only stroller.

4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for our needs, February 24, 2009
This review is from: Jeep Wrangler Twin Sport All-Weather Umbrella Stroller, Fierce (Baby Product)
The stroller is durable and compact (when folded). It handles well whether there is one or two adults pushing it and is reasonably comfortable for the children as it reclines. Even though it seats two side by side it is not unreasonably wide. Although you'd have to enter at an angle with regular sized doors it is not cumbersome and can easily be taken for shopping or walks in the park.
It also comes with a cupholder, if that is important to you.
The down side is that since it is a compact stroller you cannot carry anything large on it as it does not have underneath storage. It does have 2 pouches located on either side of the stroller to carry diapers, wipes, bottles, etc...
Overall, the stroller works for us.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good stroller for specific purposes, May 22, 2008
By
I bought this stroller specifically for travel with my 14-month-old children, including through an airport, as it folds up the most compactly of any readily-available double umbrella stroller I could find. For that use, it was ideal. The price was right, too. For daily use, I find it surprisingly heavy (though not heavier or more cumbersome than other double umbrella strollers), and it is too wide to go through most of the narrow doorways of my New York City neighborhood. That said, it's smooth and easy to push, and seems comfortable for my children. They love the open quality and feeling like part of the action. The colors are attractive and the belts are easy to use. The canopies are quite flimsy and fall down easily; I don't think they're worth much and I find the stroller easier to use and fold without them. For sunny conditions, I bought a separate UV-protective canopy (which is expensive). I wouldn't recommend using this stroller in the rain. The storage pouches hold very little. I do like the mesh back feature, and the fact that the seats recline a bit. The stroller is very easy to use and fold. Given my philosophy that no double stroller is perfect for all uses, I think this stroller, while not great for everyday use, is overall quite a good buy for specific needs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect!, February 20, 2010
This review is from: Jeep Wrangler Twin Sport All-Weather Umbrella Stroller, Fierce (Baby Product)
We absolutely loved this stroller. We wanted something to take to Disney with us, and we couldn't have made a better decision. The most important features to us were that it was easy to collapse and to open, and that it was lightweight to carry. The shade and storage were less important features to us, so though those were the two cons of this product, they didn't bother us as much as dealing with a complicated bulky stroller would have. The middle handle was great because we could stretch our diaper bag and back-pack across it (which alleviated the storage problem) and we also used it quite a bit to steer one handed. There are two locks for collapsing - just push each to the left and up, and it easily collapses. It also pops right open and one push down on each side and it locked in place. I could even collapse and open it while holding my one year old. Though the seats recline, my 4 year old was to tall to recline in it - her head would stick out the back. However, she was really beyond napping while at Disney anyway at that point. All in all, it was great, and we highly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pays for itself if you travel, August 18, 2010

This review is from: Jeep Wrangler Twin Sport All-Weather Umbrella Stroller, Fierce (Baby Product)
If you ever rent a car while traveling, this stroller will pay for itself. We can fit two suitcases, a couple duffle bags, and this stroller in the trunk of a full-size rental car. With any other stroller, we'd need to rent a more expensive mini-van...and the extra rental cost would be far more than the cost of this stroller.

While it is a bit flimsy, and flexes when going over rough roads or dirt, it's extremely lightweight and durable. It's lasted for many miles and many trips and paid for itself many times over.

Here's a tip: normally the front wheels swivel, which makes it very easy to maneuver on hard surfaces (floors, sidewalks), but the swivel action can work against you when on dirt or gravel. Just above each of the front wheels is a lever that can lock the wheels in a straight position (so they don't swivel). This makes it MUCH easier to push over dirt and gravel.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love this stroller!!, June 29, 2006
By
Say good-bye to that heavy double stroller!! I have this stroller for my twins and I love it. This stroller is very lightweight. It is great for all the time, but not to bulky for those quick trips. It folds down flat, so it takes up very little trunk room. It also fits through doorways. It has a lot of the same features the big strollers do, like a cup holder, and sunshade. The seats recline, and the backs of the seats are vented for warm days.(I haven't seen that anywhere else) There isn't a storage basket, but I am able to hang somethings from the curved handlebars, and have been able to put somethings under the seats. The small pouches on the side are bigger than you would think. I looked, and researched for awhile before I settled on this stroller. I feel like I made the right decision, and for the price you can't beat it. This stroller has held up through so much, and is still going strong. Love it, Love it, Love it!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great SIMPLE stroller - No Frills (at all), June 16, 2010
This review is from: Jeep Wrangler Twin Sport All-Weather Umbrella Stroller, Fierce (Baby Product)
This stroller is fun, simple, and folds very tiny. It's also very light and I can easily carry it with one hand. But, it has absolutely *no* frills, whatsoever.

PROS:
Compact
Folds up small
Lightweight
Comfortable ride for the little ones
Individually reclining seats
removable canopies
Wipeable material won't stain

CONS:
NO storage, the saddlebags are useless, unless you put a rattle or something in there, that's about it.
The latch that keeps it closed when collapsed is flimsy and within a month it's bent completely out of shape-unusable.
No parent console, no snack trays
Not made for rough terrain.

Bottom line: This is a great stroller for smooth pavement, the mall, and a small trunk. If you purchase a stroller organizer accessory (keep in mind this adds cost to the stroller, worth upgrading to a better one perhaps), then it serves a better purpose. I've had to hang my diaper bag over the handlebars, though cautiously as to not cause it to tip over. However, lack of storage space makes for an interesting shopping trip. It's not that narrow, and oftentimes I get stuck in a doorway since the cupholder sticks out adding a few inches to the width. It is comfortable for my girls (aged 2.5 and 1) and folds in an instant. But, I would never take this anywhere that is subject to rough terrain or even a dirt road/grass. IF you want a simple mall stroller, this is it! That said, I like mine a lot, and for the price I paid (at a very popular baby/toy store under $80), it's worth it. If you need something tough, durable, or fancy, look elsewhere.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Stroller, April 6, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Jeep Wrangler Twin Sport All-Weather Umbrella Stroller, Fierce (Baby Product)
I've had this stroller for a few weeks now. I like it a lot. I broke the canopy by accident & Kolcraft replaced it for free. I was willing to pay for the replacement. I had a Sit n Stroll and hated it. This stroller is light weight, maneuvers well, price was great. The canopy doesn't cover much but I knew that. A basket would be nice but I still love the stroller. If I wanted a basket & a better canopy, I would of had to buy a more expensive stroller. I use it for a 4 month old & 3 year old. I just recline the seat for my 4 month old and she has no problems staying in place even without the 5 point harness.

We have had the single Jeep Wrangler for 6 years, and it has never let us down. The twin Wrangler has a number of design improvements with the most obvious (and important) being the adjustable back supports, light and easy-moving wheels. The cup holder is passable. The twin Wrangler is lighter than most other brands we have tested. Which is a huge plus since my wife is of small stature. Brilliant product design.

I love this stroller, its sturdy, and is easy to open and close.
Lightweight for a double stroller!
I have had about 7 strollers for my 3 kids, and in the past 7 yrs I found I like the Jeep strollers the best!
This one will not tip with my 30 lb diaper bag hanging on the back of it, when my kids jump out(usually at the amusement park). I this had issues with other strollers.
I got a great price and it was very much worth it!
