I just received my copy of Who Else! - Authentic GUITAR-TAB Edition published by Warner Bros. Publications which includes complete solos. Wow! I am happier than a kid on Christmas. It is wonderful to see what Jeff Beck does in written form. Jeff makes it look effortless, but it is not.

The transcriptions are high quality - from my take they are dead on. No one is credited for the transcriptions - too bad. Photos from the CD are included, but no commentary - just the music.

This is the first time I've seen a guitar book like this on JB that covers an entire album, not just songs the editor chose to include. I have another JB book (InSessions with Jeff Beck - which I also like very much) that picks songs from a variety of albums, includes commentary/insight on the songs and a CD with regular-time, half-time versions of the songs done by session musicians to help you learn the pieces. Who Else! does not include a CD, nor does it include any commentary. Who Cares! The music is there.

If you are a guitarist and interested in these JB tunes, this paper back lays it out for you note for note.

Way to go Warner Bros! Please do more JB CDs. I am eagerly anticipating a similar book on JBs recent CD You Had It Coming. And why not go back and do the same for past CDs (Blow By Blow and Wired at least). I'd buy them all.
