I love Jeff Corwin! His DVD is hilarious and very kid friendly. He explains complex subjects in terms that anyone could undersdtand, while his sense of humor and intelligence make the show very engaging.

My wife and I are both fans of Jeff Corwin, but the kids adore his program. This DVD is a wonderful compilation covering wildlife in South American rainforests and coastal terrain.

I have a 4 year old boy who loves snakes so I was looking for a documentary type dvd that features realistic depictions of snakes when I encountered this dvd on Amazon and asked my son if he would like for me to get it for him. Seeing Jeff Corwin with a snake around his neck on the cover convinced my 4 year old that this might be the dvd for him so I ordered it. I watched part of it with my son and it consists of 2 episodes: Costa Rica: The Arribiatta & The Amazon: Goin' Bananas. Both episodes have Jeff Corwin deal with snakes as well as other animals in each episode, but for my son, the snake experiences Jeff has in the Costa Rica section like the one he encounters the largest pit viper ever had my son really enjoying that episode in particular! So, if you have a young snake lover in your midst, this dvd would sure be worth the effort to get to entertain the young snake lover in the family!

I have two boys 5 & 2 1/2 and they love this DVD! Jeff Corwin is great as he explores the rainforest of Costa Rica and the Amazon. Great for all ages...even Mom thinks he's a crack-up! Entertaining and educational. I wish there were more...
