Helpful Quick Reference for Household Problems
I'm a big fan of all of Jeff May's books (Healthy Home Tips, reviewed here; My House is Killing Me; and Mold Survival Guide). Each fills a niche, but I've found Healthy Home Tips to be broadly useful, with information that is succinct and accessible.
