the book is great for beginners. i was a little disappointed with the book dvd combo because i am a more experienced drummer looking to learn some of the famous jeff queen stick tricks. but past the basic back sticking instructional, the book/dvd pretty much tells you to figure them out yourself...

It was really exciting to watch Jeff perform in the video. My son studys the video and is trying to learn the tricks. Thanks for making a great DVD.

I have been a drummer for 18 years i used to teach high school and junior high schools. Did that for 5 years. I did not learn many new things from this book or DVD, but everthing he says or writes is just how i used to teach and how my belief on drumming should be handeled. This makes my life easier now that i have this i do not need to create my own drumming book to remeber everthing that can be done. Now i have this great refrience book with all stickings rudiments and how to varry them off. This is great now i do not need to depened on my brian to remeber it all. This is a joy to have I want to thank Jeff Queen for taking time to share with the world his talent.

Ps i also bought Jeffs sticks They fell as good as Ralphys but i would love to have a pair in sta Pac.

I started to read the book with DVD and it was great. I think that it's better buy book and DVD. You can read, pratice and after that, check with Jeff if your exercise was been successfully done.
