These socks are soft and wash really well. The scalloped edges are very feminine. They're thin like a dress sock -- about the same weight as Maggie's Infant & Toddler socks and thinner than Maggie's Kids and Adult socks. My daughter has been wearing them all summer with her Soft Star Ramblers. If she didn't outgrow them (or our season for cotton socks was longer) I think they would last a year or more of constant use.

If you're looking for organic socks for preschoolers and older, this is a great option.

I was tired of having the "sock battle" every day with my 6 year old. She always claimed that her socks were "too twisty" - which basically meant that she didn't like the seam at her toes. These socks really help. Not only are they better fitting (due to the Spandex), but they are virtually seamless - nothing to feel! I purchased these along with some other Jefferies socks, since sometimes she needs some that are a little more "dressy" than athletic socks. I do, however, prefer the athletic socks - they seem to stretch out a little less.
