This collection (1 of a 2 volume set) transports the listener to the club where it was performed and recorded - over and over again. It is not as polished as a studio recording, but that is the beauty. The music instantly hooks your ear and your attention and stays with you til the end. If you like Shawn Mullins then you should own this already. This also introduces you to an amazing talent in Matthew Kahler, whose wit is seen in Matthew's Improv and whose soul is revealed in "I don't wan't to lose you". The pairing of 2 of of Atlanta's great talents is awesome - they interact and compliment each other well. This truly is a cd worth keeping in your changer at all times.
