On longer runs/ races these are a life saver. While I enjoy gu and clif bars both require a good amount of water just to swallow and cliff bars can be a little tricky to eat well moving. But with sport beans I get the same extra boost ( a little more honestly) without drying out my mouth of risking chocking. Plus having something to bit down on with some give makes long hills more survivable. I use one pack for half marathons, two for fulls.

I love some jelly beans, and to have them actually functional? That's just genius. If you haven't had them, they are delicious, although slightly salty. The effects of the caffeine are noticeable to me, an infrequent consumer of caffeine.
