5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful value for your money
I purchased this for use in my bathtub. It is more comfortable than the blow-up ones and stays cleaner.

I am a person who takes a bath almost every night and have been searching for a bath pillow that will stand up to daily use. This pillow is nice because it doesn't hold mold or bacteria and is fairly comfortable but the suction cups do not work as well as I had hoped. For those of us who take a lot of baths, we know there are two problems with pillows: popping holes in the blow up kind AND suction cups that actually hold the pillow to the bathtub. These suction cups actually pop out of the pillow which is nice because it doesn't rip when there is a lot of movement but they really don't have the stay put quality I was looking for. If you take a bath weekly or even less, this pillow would most likely serve your needs. With all said, I would probably still prefer this pillow simply due to the non-popping and bacteria repelling qualities!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't get moldy!, June 24, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I take a bath every night, so I really notice how quickly bath pillows get moldy (and therefore become health hazards). I've tried "innovative" $80 bath pillows, the blow-up pillows, battery-powered massage pillows, etc. etc. This pillow has the best longevity by FAR. I've used the same one for months and it is not moldy at all!

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice little pillow, stands the test of time, April 19, 2009
I have had this pillow for around 2 years now, and I am very satisfied with my purchase. A little overpriced at the time, but I got mine with some Amazon cc rewards, and since then the price has dropped.

Pros:
*Pillow stands the wear and tear of a house full of 3 women, still going good after two years
*Does NOT mold! No offensive odors, water does not permeate the pillow
*Fairly comfortable under the neck or behind the back

Cons:
*Suction cups have slight difficulty staying inside pillow. This is really only a problem when you lean forward and the pillow slides down. I don't typically bother with them anymore
*Pillow is not very "pillow-like" it is more of a foam bean. (This may or may not be a con for you, I find it's not overstuffed)

Conclusion:
I would recommend this pillow to anyone looking for something simple that will stand wear and tear. With the discounted price and the time it's lasted, it's a good value and you're not buying something you'll have to throw away and replace in a year. I give it four stars for it's trouble holding the suction cups, but it's a minor problem and they do stay in enough to hold the pillow in place as long as you don't pull it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect - Exactly what I was looking for, April 21, 2011

I was a little skeptical about this product due to the reviews and price of the foam pillow but I went and purchased anyway.

LOVE IT. It's perfect. Doesn't get mold, it's soft and is just the right size. It does from time to time looses its suction but that is to be expected and doesn't bother me as much as others have mentioned.

Pro tip: I actually love turning it vertical (straight up and down) and having it cover a larger portion of my neck and head.

Nice design. Size and shape are very accommodating. Very durable too. And I should mention that it's comfortable, feeling quite cushy and plush.

Optimum placement would be on a tub that has a flat or gently-sloped lip, which is what ours has. Two medium-sized suction cups hold the pillow in place. Note, though, that they would not work well if you try to stick them to a textured surface, such as tile or granite. That wouldn't prevent you from using the pillow, but it would be a tad more cumbersome.

Recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally...a bath pillow that WORKS!, May 1, 2011

I have bought, easily, 6 bath pillows in the last few months and have always been disappointed. I am so glad I finally found this pillow and love it! I don't have to blow the thing up, worry about it losing air, smooshing to nothing behind my neck and head, etc...The suctions work great and the pillow doesn't move behind me. Also, it is firm and reminds me of a pillow that would be in a hot tub. I would highly recommend this pillow for anyone that likes to relax in the tub!

More expensive than the cheap blow up pillows, but as with most things -- you get what you pay for. If you take frequent baths, this is a good investment in your long term comfort. Feels fabulous on the neck and holds well. Doesnt absorb water, so never gets smelly! Wipe down with soap and water to clean.

I really like this bath pillow. It stays in place and fits the neck and head perfectly. And just the right amount and density of foam. A real comfort.

Comfy pillow, but suction cups on the back started popping off after the first use.

Can't expect a foam pillow to defy the laws of physics, so I can't complain that it isn't useful for underwater (lumbar) support--wish I could find something like that. And, if the designers wanted to add a loop somewhere so that it could be hung out of the way between baths, that would be nice.

That said, it IS very comfortable.
