I checked out Jellybeans for Breakfast every week as a child. Then we moved and I didn't see it again for over twenty years. I think my first search on Ebay and Google both were for Jellybeans for Breakfast. Finally, I got my hands on a copy! It was amazing to see the pictures again - little details leaped off the page, I remembered them so well. There is a Facebook group devoted to Jellybeans for Breakfast - check it out!

When I was a small child I would go to the library and check this book out every time! I loved jellybeans and this was the perfect book for me! I haven't seen it for many years, but I would have to say that it is my favorite childrens book because it reminds me that reading can take you places that the TV can't. The pictures and words can stay in your heart for years and years and make you feel special every time you think about them. I'm 29 years old now and have never forgotten "Jellybeans for Breakfast"! I would love to find this book to share with my 4 children ages 5 months to 9.

I also loved this book as a child and I just can't believe that it hasn't been reprinted!? I looked for it for many months when our first son was born. Now, the cheapest used one is $68.00? WOW! I didn't know I had once owned such a prized item!

My sister (33) and I (30) have been looking for this book for the last 5 years. When we were small, we had the book at home. We read it over and over, taking turns pretending to be the characters in the book. Our imaginations soared reading this book. We both wanted it for our children!

This is the ultimate book for kindergarteners of all ages. I recieved this book from my kindergarten teacher in 1980 and have been looking for a copy for my little girl since 1996. I wish I could pass this wonderful story of imagination and friendship on to another generation. Where have all the good books gone since my yound days sitting in the Philadelphia Libraries. The stories just don't hold the innocence and pure imagination they used too. I am so happy to see that others cherish this story as I do.

I too, loved this book as a child and owned the green, hard-cover version. Although I never cared for jellybeans, I loved the ones in this book - thank you Beverly Komoda! You can become a fan on Facebook and see if it ever does get re-printed. You can also check out Purple House Press at [..] as they do re-prints and may eventually have this title to offer. Hope you all get your hands on a copy (at a reasonable price!) and can share it with your babies and your babies' babies someday.

I remember when i was in the first grade,on library day i would check out Jellybeans for Breakfast and recheck it out when we would have to take our books back. The Librarian told me i had to give the book up and let others have a chance to check it out. she told me if it was availible the next week on library day, i would be welcome to check it out again.I always prayed it would be on the shelf so i could re-read it over again. I would love to have a copy of the book, but i can not pay hundreds of dollars for it,Please re-publish this book whoever owns the rights to it!

I was hoping to find a new copy of this book. My mom bought it at a Library sale when I was a little girl and it has been well read by all of her 6 children and now her grandchildren. My 3 year old reads it at least 3x a day. It depicts childhood exactly how it should be for all children- full of imagination and potential. All time favorite childrens book. Glad ours is still readable just wish I could find a newer one at an affordable price.
