Excellent teapot - attractive and functional,
By The pot has a nice, even pour without dripping. The flared end on the tip of the spout really helps out here. The infuser works well and is large enough to hold any amount of tea you wish to use. There are small slits in the bottom of the infuser which allow the water to steep into the tea chamber. It has no problem out keeping out tea leaves (you'll get a small amount of tea 'dust', but nothing to be worried about), but very fine particles might slip through; mainly rooibos or 'red tea'. If you plan on drinking some rooibos, consider looking for some paper tea filters. Most of the leaves will rinse out, although if you have trouble with some leaves sticking in the slits, you might try an old toothbrush. When it comes to cleaning the pot, a quick rinse will take care of the tea residue. After a few uses, you can wash the pot in the dishwasher - the glass is dishwasher safe. For stubborn stains, I highly recommend using hot water with baking soda. Also, if you have some lemon juice, this tends to help out the soda even more. That old toothbrush or a washrag will wipe off the remaining stain that didn't immediately dissolve off. Lastly, be careful when pouring - the lid will slide off when the pot is almost empty. Just be sure to hold the lid down, and you'll be fine. To wrap up, this is a great teapot. I do recommend it. Even though it's no ceramic or even cast iron pot, it works well and is attractive.

This is the best looking teapot out there, so dainty and beautiful. It also works great. However, it looks so fragile that I don't use it as often as I'd like to because I am scared to shatter it with one false move.

Much Smaller In Person,

The handle provides good balance and leverage--not too thin like some glass carafes. It's about the size of a Chantal teakettle.
