You and your children will cling to the edge of your chairs as the tale of their hair-raising adventure unfolds. A very heart-warming and humor ous story that will delight children and adults alike.

I loved Bill Peet books as a child, and I still really like them today. I remember every character and every plot from 20 years ago. The illustrations are cute and captivating, the characters are engaging, the stories and well told, and each book has a meaning. There are few authors who can create such a fine balance in childrens' books.

I just read this book tonight with my kids, ages 3 and 7. We enjoyed this story. It's unique and exciting. The text flows well as a read aloud. Also, the illustrations are fun and interesting.
