5.0 out of 5 stars Flashback!
I first purchased the album "Jennifer - I can remember Everything" (her, on the cover in Olde English attire) the Spring of 1969, and a short while later, her "See Me..." album. I was in the Navy, stationed in Jacksonville, FL. and could only store a few albums in my locker, among them were The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Country Joe And The Fish, John Fahey, Mary Hopkin, Morton...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as later work
I am a big Jennifer Warnes fan, and my opinion is that her music has steadily improved with age - The Well being her finest CD to date. This collection is from very early in her career, and lacks the most of the talent that she has developed over the years. As a result, I was disappointed.

I first purchased the album "Jennifer - I can remember Everything" (her, on the cover in Olde English attire) the Spring of 1969, and a short while later, her "See Me..." album. I was in the Navy, stationed in Jacksonville, FL. and could only store a few albums in my locker, among them were The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Country Joe And The Fish, John Fahey, Mary Hopkin, Morton Subotnick, J. S. Bach and Jennifer Warnes. After the Navy, I moved a lot and lost track of those albums. But I never forgot sweet Jennifer. From some time in the mid 80s to the present, I have added every album of Jennifer's to my CD collection, and always wished they'd re-release her first albums. I love all of her music, but now that her first two albums have resurfaced on this CD, I am reminded of the general atmosphere of...not only that Spring of 1969, but the whole package of OUR TIME, from the mid 60s to the mid 70s. If, like me, you experienced Jennifer in the magical surroundings of those times, you will be astonished at how hearing these songs again can reawaken the wonderful feelings that shook the world with their bold but gentle touch. I am ever grateful to Rev-Ola Records for making available this beautiful rush that I'd nearly forgotten. I listened and I cried in joy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Jennifer Warnes as a hippy, January 20, 2008

If you haven't figured this out, this is Jennifer Warnes as she appeared on the Glen Campbell Hour show. She still was one-of-a-kind. Buy it; I did.
